Description:		Ts. This material is a translation from English into St. Lawrence Island Yupik. The first is: Hensel, Chase; Marie Blanchett, Ida Alexie and Phyllis Morrow, 1980. Qaneryaurci Yup'igtun. An Introductory Course in Yup'ik Eskimo for non-speakers. Bethel, Alaska: Yup'ik Language Center. It is an introduction to conversational Central Alaskan Yup'ik, a language closely related but not mutually intelligible with St. Lawrence Island Yupik. The second is: MacLean, Edna Agheak, 1985. North Slope Inupiaq Dialogues. Supplement to North Slope Inupiaq Grammar: First Year. Fairbanks, Alaska: Alaska Native Language Center and Alaska Native Language Program/ College of Liberal Arts, University of Alaska. This booklet contains 13 short dialogues, with English translation and morpheme analysis, in North Slope Inupiaq, a language also closely related to St Lawrence island Yupik. Translations were done in 1985 by Timothy Gologergen, Gordon Irrigoo and John Waghiyi, with help fron Della Waghiyi. Also includes a copy with edits by Steve Jacobson.
