Description:Thatching a faré, an open shelter by the sea. One man stands under the roof with a long needle (jiido), into whose eyelet people standing on the roof pass a wire (a vine in the past). The needle retreats and re-pierces the roof a bit further along. The men on the roof use the thus sewn wire to fix a bundle of long straw to the roof, packing it by hitting it with their hands or a mallet. The work is shown from all angles. Nigai, Kafé and Gana joke around, mostly about piercing and thrusting.
Jean lives in Wanache, is one of the best young speakers.
