		A project for the analysis and description of the Tiriyó language, based on fieldwork. It started in 1993 (under Dr. Spike Gildea's Northern Brazilian Cariban Languages Documentatino Project, NSF grant DBS-9210130) and continues to the present.

		Nasau is an older man (50-60 in 2002) who speaks H-Tiriyó. He is an Okomoyana, born in Surinam, in the Karakai river, and now residing in Brasil. He is very respected at the Missão Tirió area. He is the chief of a small sub-village.
		Sérgio Meira is also the researcher responsible for the project on the analysis and description of the Tiriyó language.
