| Goal of this project is to get a clear view of the command of Sarnami and/or Sranan of primary school children of Suriname origin and to study their command of Dutch. | ||

| Dorian de Haan is the coordinator/collector of this project. She is of Dutch origin. She works at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands, at the Developmental Psychology department. | ||
| Emine is of Turkish origin and was born in Turkey. She was 6 years old when she came to the Netherlands. She went to Kindergarten when she came here. Currently she is in the last form of primary school. With her siblings she speaks mostly Dutch, with her parents she speaks Turkish She says that her Turkish is better then her Dutch. She goes to Turkish class. Same girl as in 1B. | ||
| Erzan is of Turkish origin and was born in Turkey. She was only 5 months old when her parents moved to the Netherlands. She has one older brother (who lives in Dordrecht), her younger siblings are born in the Netherlands. She speaks mostly Dutch with her siblings and Turkish with her parents. She says that she prefers to speak Turkish. She goes to Turkish class. She is in the last form of primary school. Same girl as in 1B. | ||
| Munire is of Turkish origin and was born in Turkey. She was 4 when her parents moved to the Netherlands and she has been there for 8 years now. She speaks Dutch with her siblings and Turkish with her parents. She goes to Turkish class. She is in the last form of primary school. Same girl as in 1B. | ||
