| Goal of this project is to get a clear view of the command of Sarnami and/or Sranan of primary school children of Suriname origin and to study their command of Dutch. | ||
| The task is to retell a story about a boy and his football. Together the boy and his ball go to a football competition in the park. Unfortunately the boy and his team do not win. After the match he stops to order a fries. He puts his ball in the truck of a car. The car rides off. Fortunately, it stops for a pedestrian crossing where the boy takes his ball back and goes home. | ||
| Dorian de Haan is the coordinator/collector of this project. She is of Dutch origin. She works at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands, at the Developmental Psychology department. | ||
| Tania is of Suriname Creole origin. She was born in Suriname and moved to the Netherlands when she was 7. When she came to the Netherlands, she went to the 4th form of primary school. Currently she is in the last form. Her mother already lived in the Netherlands when she came here; therefore she lived with her grandmother in Suriname for a while. Same girl as in 25R, 45B & 47E. | ||
