Description:This is a short ritual of blessing performed on the fourth day of the Wadhangmi festival in the private household of Jaya Bahadur Tele.
The blessing is performed fo the outmarried sisters of the lineage as well as for other relatives. Raksi (liquor) is offered in a calabash, also beer in a wooden container, and sidra, a little fish, and radish is offered in plate.
ABKR acts as pujari, and DBR speaks as wattong who knows the mundum language.
He is a village elder belonging to the Puma subtribe.
Dr. Gaenszle is the researcher in charge of ethnography.
Mr. Netra Prasad Paudyal is a native speaker of Nepali. He did his MA in Linguistics, based on field research on Darai, and endangered Indoaryan language of Nepal. He worked as a research assistant in the Chintang and Puma Documentation Project.
He is a member of the Khɨkhang clan and a neighbour if JBTR.
