| Description: | The Budhohang is one of the most important deities among Chintang and is worshipped in all rituals. The Budhohang was king in Khalsa territory but he disappeared so he is believed as a living god. | |
| It is the worship of the Budhohang, the holy ancestral worship of Chintang Rai with chanting mundhum by Wattong. In all rituals, the Budhohang is worshipped. | ||
| This is a chant in the ritual language used by Chintang ritual experts. Its characterized by binomials which are different from ordinary language nouns. | ||
| Collectors (MG and IR) were informed the worship and went there and recorded it. Dambar Bahadur is both householder and priest. One more important thing is also that he himself chanted the mundum. | ||

| He is a Chintang elder from the Khɨkkhang clan. His father was a naŋsuba (priest). He himself was a vice-chairman of the village district (at the time called Panchayat). | ||
