Description:This is the session of ritual invocation. It was performed on the occasion of the Wadhangmi festival. In this worship, sister relations are blessed through this worship.
This is a small worship for blessing the female side. On this occasion, the knowledgeable elder (BBR) chanted the ritual language.
This is a chant in the ritual language used by Chintang ritual experts. Its characterized by binomials which are different from ordinary language nouns.
MG was the collector for this session and the chanter is Chambak kancha, a tribal shaman.
He is member of the Tuprihang clan. Like his elder brother BhB he is a Chambak, i.e. a tribal shaman, who goes into trance during certain occasion.
Dr. Gaenszle is the researcher in charge of ethnography
