Description:We wanted to record a traditional folk song. It was recorded on our request. The recording took place during the day time in the yard of a house.
This is a traditional folk song. It describes how a cock was used as a clock. It also describes womens' role in the morning.
Chintang is the only language that is used throughout this session.
I completed Masters Degree in Linguistics from Tribhuvan University, and currently working as a Research Assistant in the (DOBES) project. I am in charge of Linguistic works and analysis.
Bhim was born and brought up in Chintang. Both of his parents are native Chintang. He is khinci rai. He has never left the area for a long time.
