Description: | In this part of the workshop, the participants discuss the function, importance, and meaning of narratives like the "nabaane"-stories. First, a recorded version of one nabaane story is played. The speakers talk about the value of these stories, how they as children listened to them, and how they told these stories to their kids. They do not want the stories to be devalued or realized as a simple fairy tale, since each story has an important morale. The availability of the recorded stories, their translations as well as the needed technology are also topics in this discussion. A recollection in English by HRB speaker 140 in ENG is at the end of the discussion. The only Beaver is when GM plays the NAB Nabaane storz. | |
