Description:		This is the 1st session of the child3, Kalpana for the Child Language Development study.
		The aim of the project is to provide a rich linguistic and ethnographic documentation of two highly endangered but almost totally undocumented languages in eastern Nepal, Chintang and Puma. These languages belong to the Kiranti family of Tibeto-Burman. Chintang is spoken by the Chintang Rai in Chintang Village Development Committee (VDC) of Dhankuta district. Puma is spoken by the Puma Rai in Diplung, Mauwabote and Pauwasera VDCs, to the south of Khotang bazar in Khotang district. Both these districts are situated in the eastern hilly part of the country.http://www.cpdp.uzh.ch
		Kalpana, other two girls are on the veranda, one is eating lunch, one is sweeping the floor. Several other children present. Her father and grandmother walk by. There is lots of walking in and out. Several children are present.
		The conversation is in Chintang language in general.
		Kalpana is the target child, Mekh Bahadur is her father, Anita is her mother, Ashu is her cousin. Ganga Maya is her grandmother, Ranjana is her elder sister. Puspa is their neighbour and our local informant. Jitendra is a neighbouring child.
		Kalpana is the youngest child of her parents. She has three elder siblings. She is the daughter of Kamala's father's younger brother.
		Anita Rai is the mother of the child, Kalpana. She is a housewife and a farmer. Sometimes she goes to work in others' farming field on wage.
		Ash Kumari Rai is the elder sister of Kamala Rai and the fifth daughter of Kalpana's father's elder brother. She is also called Ash Kumari. She is the fifth daughter of her parents.She often stays at home. She sometimes goes to the school.
		Puspa is the neighbour of all our target children in Chintang. She is our local assistant as well. She has passed class 10.
		She is the mother of Kamala's father. She lives in Chintang only during the festivals. Otherwise she lives in Dhankuta headquater with her youngest son.
		Jitendra Rai is the neighbour of Kamala's family. His mother is Newar and his father is Chintang Rai. He is a student. He reads in class 1.
		Ranjana is the elder sister of Kalpana. She is also called Ranje. She is the second child of her parents. She is a student. She reads in class 1. She caretakes her sister Kalpana in her mother's absence. She is also the daughter of Kamala's father's younger brother.
		He is the father of Kalpana. He has four children. He loves his children very much. He is a farmer and a porter as well. He is also the younger brother of Kamala's father.
