This corpus collects Turkish sign language TID data from children and also their parents. For this project, TID signers were recorded performing different tasks narratives of short picture stories/cartoon clips and engaging in free conversation. These recordings and their annotations are stored in this corpus. | ||

Beyza is a hearing person. She recorded the sessions and conducted the experiments. She mainly used TID and tried not to use speech. | ||
Emir was born deaf. He has deaf parents and a deaf brother. He has been attending a rehabilitation center for 6 months twice a week. He has no CI. His grandparents (both from mother and father) are hearing. He uses his right hand while signing and writing. | ||
Hukumran is a hearing person. He is a fluent signer. He prentended to be deaf in the experiments. He checked the order of tasks and gave instructions when necessary. | ||
Sevinc is a native deaf signer. She is a very active member of the Deaf community both in Istanbul and Izmir. She used to the former chair in Izmir Deaf Association. In the experiments, she conducted the experiments and gave instructions to the participants. | ||
