Description:		Text recorded at the home of MI and LP; interview with Arus. Her daughter was present. Arus tells a fairy tale about an old lady and a cat stealing her milk. The story is an example of a chain story, a typical genre of oral literature in the region.
		Documentation of the language and culture of the Gorani speaking minority in Kermanshah province of Iran, with special reference to the use of Gorani as the language of spiritual texts for the Ahl-i Haqq religion in the region.
		The story concerns an old lady who discovers a cat has been stealing the milk from her goat. She cuts the cat's tail off. The cat begs her to return the tail, but she demands a number of tasks from the cat before agreeing to return the tail. The cat sets off to accomplish the tasks the old woman has set her; the story is a typical chain story with one task leading to the next, until finally all are completed.
		Married woman, approx. 30 years old, one daughter (approx. 6 years). Low education level, life spent in village.
