Description:Western Lani is a non-Austronesian language spoken by approximately 50.000 speakers in the western area of Wamena in Papua province, Indonesia. Western Lani is Trans-New Guenea, Western, Dani, western Dani. The data within this corpus was collected and processed by Simon, the researcher of and a student of English Language at the State Uninversity of Papua in Manokwari. Tabuni's fieldwork was funded by the Volkswagen Foundation, within the project "Documentation Summits in the Central Mountains of Papua".

Simon is the principle investigator in the Western Lani project
Lepinus is the singer, he lives in Wamena sometimes in Gume, and active in speaking Western Lani.
Yandinus is the native speakers and he live in Bogomame. Bogomame and Gume have same dialect
Ilinius is the singer and he lives in Gume.
Dipenus was born and live in bogomame, the village that located on the western of gume village
Kalepus is been living in Manokwari,he is working on TNI, and he is good in speaking western Lani, and know more about Lani's social live.
Stepen is the native speaker of Western Lani, and he live in Gume
