Description:		Analysis session focusing on beginning to 195 seconds in the text "Ngel.kanx" (file 12_09_07_3).
		For this project, the project contact performed approximately 10 non-consecutive months of solo fieldwork on varieties of Xong (a language belonging to the Miao branch of the Miao-Yao language family) spoken in La'ershan Town and nearby villages in Fenghuang County, Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province, China. Data collection during the project primarily consisted of making audio recordings of Xong solo narratives, Xong conversations, and elicitation sessions (conducted in Standard Mandarin) on various phonological and grammatical topics in Xong. The ultimate goal of the project was to acquire data for the project contact's doctoral dissertation, which was a comprehensive reference grammar of Fenghuang Xong. This dissertation was completed and successfully defended at the University at Buffalo in 2015.
