Title:r2015_08_31_sync
Documentation of Yélî Dnye, language of Rossel Island
Coverage:Papua New Guinea
Date:2015-08-31
Description:Dyads were asked to chat, but they often resort to reciprocal story-telling (since the instruction is ambiguous, and despite attempts to cue them into conversation). This time each participant is wearing head mounted mike - the files are still labelled by whose face is visible, but the sound track for that face is on the other file (the face's sound track is on the camera behind her)! Thus you see the reaction to the other soundtrack on the face. **Unfortunately, due to bad plug, one soundtrack didn't record - can be faintly heard on the other** But the other track (Topewaa, camera mike with ambient noise) is OK, so transcribable.
