		El proyecto tiene por objetivo proporcionar una base de datos del idioma yurakaré que corresponda a las necesidades de una variedad de personas (hablantes y sus representantes políticos, pedagogos responsables de producción de material escolar, ONG's, lingüistas, antropólogos) y que sirva a varias funciones, académicas o no, incluso funciones que no prevemos en este momento. Si la base de datos está en primer lugar dirigida a documentar el idioma yurakaré en su diversidad, incorpora también datos contextuales, testimonios, ilustraciones de prácticas cotidianas, discursos de los yurakaré acerca de su propia situación y de los desafíos que viven hoy en día, proporcionando así una documentación que incluye el material lingüístico en el mundo vivido actual de los yurakaré.
		The aim of the project is to provide people from various backgrounds (speakers and their political representatives, developers of educational material, NGO's, language planners, linguists and anthropologists) with a database of the Yurakaré language that can serve a variety of purposes, even purposes we do not foresee at this moment. The database aims in the first place at documenting the Yurakaré language in all its diversity, but it will also include data that give an idea of the context of the language: personal histories, illustrations of everyday practices, Yurakaré testimonies about their own situation and the challenges they are facing today. In this manner we want to build a database that not only includes linguistic material, but that also tries to embed these data in the larger context of the current Yurakaré society.
		Alina lives in San Pablo, at the Isiboro River. She speaks Yurakaré and Spanish fluently.

		Rufino is one of the founders of the village of Nueva Lacea, and the most important consultant in that village. He is born and raised in Tayuta, then as a young man moved to San Antonio de Lora. After a year in the Chapare he went to Nueva Canaan along the Isiboro River. Finally he went to Nueva Lacea.
		Rufino es uno de los fundadores de la comunidad de Nueva Lacea, y uno de los consultantes más importantes. Nació y creció en Tayuta, y como joven se mudó a San Antonio de Lora. Después de un año en el Chapare, vivía en Nueva Canaan, por el Río Isiboro. Ahora vive en Nueva Lacea.
		Rik is one of the field researchers and analysts of the DoBeS-Yurakaré team. He has worked in La Misión, Tacuaral, Nueva Canaan, Loma del Masí, Nueva Lacea, and Tres de Mayo.
