Description:A description of the Hesokuru ritual, its performance and conditions of usage. The Hesokuru ritual is a cultural mechanism to settle conflicts between two parties by involving the use of a bamboo stick. Each end of the stick has to be held by one party. At the end of the ritual, the stick will be broken into two pieces eventually symbolising the breaking of the grudge.
