| Description: | This is a (almost) 3-minute video in which there are two children who are siblings. The girl wants to eat something and brings a tray on which there are something to eat and drink. Each time she attempts to eat something, the boy wants it. She starts to get irritated by his behaviour and decides to play a trick on him. She sees a spider on the floor and get it to put in a sandwich while the boy is watching TV. When she starts to pretend eating it, the boy wants it and the girl again gives it to the boy. At the end, the boy sees the spider in it and gets really scared. | |
| This corpus collects Turkish sign language TID data from children and also their parents. For this project, TID signers were recorded performing different tasks narratives of short picture stories/cartoon clips and engaging in free conversation. These recordings and their annotations are stored in this corpus. | ||

| Beyza is a hearing person. She recorded the sessions and conducted the experiments. She mainly used TID and tried not to use speech. | ||
| Hukumran is a hearing person. He is a fluent signer. He prentended to be deaf in the experiments. He checked the order of tasks and gave instructions when necessary. | ||
| Sevinc is a native Deaf signer. She was born in 1974. She has both Deaf parents. She has finished a high school for the hearing and attened to Eskisehir Integreation Center for the Deaf, but she quitted it. She is an active member of the Deaf community. She knows some other sign languages. | ||
| Can was born Deaf. His parents are both Deaf. He has also a Deaf brother. His grandparents are not Deaf. He does not have CI. He is attending a primary school for Deaf (2nd grade). He has been attending a rehebilitation center since he was 3. He goes there once a week. He uses his right hand while signing and writing. | ||
