Description:It was recorded at Sove, Diplung. In this session, a famous myth about Hetchakupa, the culture hero who was an orphan, is narrated.
In this recording the narrator tells the myth of Hetchakupa, the culture hero, who is an orphan and who acts as a creator like Paruhang.
In most of the cases, Puma language is used.
KNR is a well known person of Puma culture and Community. He is accompanied by an elder (SDR) who underlines the authenticity of the narrative.
Mr Sain Dhoj Rai is one of the influential person who is well knowledgeable Puma in the community.
Mr Karna Bahadur Rai is one of the most influential Puma who knows very well about the Puma language and culture. So Puma team called him to tell the stories about the Hetcakupa.
He is the research assistant for ethnography in the Puma team.
Dr. Gaenszle is the researcher in charge of ethnography
