		The first half of an hour long interview with a Tsafiki transcription, parsing and glosses and free translations in Spanish and English. PU3 interviews U6 concerning cultivation. They discuss the cultivation of: plátano, cacao, corn, beans, peanuts, rice, chili, pineapple, guava, yucca, sweet potatoes, papachilma, sugarcane, oranges, palms and achiote. They discuss the proper season and proper stage of the moon for planting these crops, how the earth was prepared, subsequent care and harvest and how the food was prepared and used. There is also some discussion of communal work groups, clearing the land, including the logging of huge trees, husking and winnowing rice etc.
		U6 is a fifty-eight year old Tsachi male. He was born in Ela, a bit upriver from Congoma, but has lived in Cogoma since the age of ten. He is considered to be an expert hunter and fisherman and is quite knowledgeable about cultivation, hunting and fishing. He speaks Spanish, but Tsafiki is clearly his first and dominant language.
		PU3 is a forty-six year old Tsachi man born in Congoma where he has lived for his entire adult life. He is fluent in both Tsafiki and the local dialect of Spanish. Tsafiki is his first and dominant language. He has been working on various translation projects for over thirty years. He is a native of Congoma.He has a great deal of knowledge about Tsachi culture. He is married and has two grown children and four grandchildren.
