| In this session the consultant gives some additional information about the legend of 'Ono (see link). The conversation leads to a general discussion about several Marquesan dances (ori pahaka, ori manu) and about feasts and dances in general, and about signs in nature (tapa'o) and their interpretation. | ||
| A nine-month-old baby was present during the recording. | ||
| Tah is originally from Tahuata, but went to school on Hiva 'Oa. Tah is a fluent bilingual and very knowledgable concerning the Marquesan culture. | ||
| GC is responsable for the Marquesan DOBES project and does all the data collection, data processing and annotation. | ||
| Tei speaks some French and Tahitian. He was born and raised on Tahuata, but he had lived for a long time on Tahiti and Mururoa where he worked for several years. His speech is characteristic for some French and Tahitian loan words. | ||
