| TB grew up on Nuku Hiva, but have been living on 'Ua Pou since she turned 17. TB is a fluent bilingual often engaging in French-Marquesan code-switching. In cultural indigenous matters TB was well educated by her father who was born in 1901 and who was very knowledgable about old Marquesan customs, songs, stories etc.. | ||
| GC is responsable for the Marquesan DOBES project and does all the data collection, data processing and annotation. | ||
| Ca is monolingual speaker of Marquesan, only knowing a little French. She lived all her life on Nuku Hiva island, in particular in the valley of Hakau'i. | ||
