The data set, that the describer gets to see consists of 32 elicited placement events distributed over 8 short digitised videoclips. The clips are meant to elicit descriptions of the actor's actions from the Describer. A second aim is to elicit gestures related to and accompanying description of the placement event. Descriptions were done by 5 different groups of subjects: 1) native Dutch speakers 2) native French speakers 3) native German speakers 4) native Dutch - learners of French speakers (in french) 5) native Germans - learners of French speakers (in french)
