Description:A story about a boy whose mother dies and his father takes a witch as his second wife. The stepmother mistreats the boy: when he is sent out to the rice field to chase away the birds, she volunteers to bring food to him, but while doing so she beats off the rice spikelets - as if the boy weren't doing his job well and the birds ate the rice -- and then beats the boy himself. One day the boy gathers courage to tell the truth to his father and he believes him. Because the witch also leaves her skin at the root of a tree before coming to harass the boy, he takes salt and pepper, follows his wife and, when she is off to the field to harass his son, pours the mixture into her skin. When the witch comes back to the tree she finds out that the skin itches too much, but she can't take it off either. Instead, the skin tears in several places, and she becomes a spotted antelope. This is where antelopes originate from.
