Title:The grammar of Yalarnnga : a language of western Queensland
Abstract:"The Yalarnnga language is a fairly typical language of the Pama-Nyungan type, at least of the type that lacks bound pronouns. Yalarnnga shares a lot of lexical items with its northern neighbour, Kalkutungu, and diffusion is likely to be responsible. The two languages also share a number of affixes, some widespread and some distinctive, but there is not enough evidence to claim the two languages form a subgroup. The two languages may constitute a relic area"-- p. 1
