Description:Digital recording of a music session made by Geoffrey Benjamin in 2007. The recording is of people singing songs which they associated with the ʔalʉj Səlamad religion, as an example for Benjamin to record (this was not an actual ceremony, and the people in the recording were not necessarily followers themselves). They also prepared the decorations to suit such a ceremony. The singers announce their name and the name of the song before each song. There are no notes about this recording session in the notebook. Photos of the session can be found under Photos. The style of headdress that can be seen in these photos is very much ʔalʉj Səlamad style, with the flowers interwoven.
