Description:Jerry (Jeks) Dareda [JJD] and a crew of young men from Malam translate this short story into Ende. After they translated it, Kate Lindsey worked with them to make sure it sounded like "good Ende" and not a translation. Kate still thinks that the phrase structure and some of the constructions (like the use of ede 'so') are a little off. After recording, Kate transcribed the recording and included the original English prompts as translation, interlinearized the text in FLEx, and exported to ELAN. This session includes the original annotations (non-standard orthography) as a PDF. The original story is a MelaTAMP Storyboard by Kilu von Prince and anytime this recording is used, the storyboard should also be cited as follows: "von Prince, Kilu. 2017. Red Yam. MelaTAMP Storyboards.". Language as given: Ende
