Bibliographic Citation:Ratu, Hilarius, Danerek, H. Stefan, Danerek, H. Stefan, Danerek, H. Stefan, Bernadetta Paji; 2015-06-23; Genre: Medicine/huru: Bernadetta Paji had said that she would show me her 'huru', with samples of plants/contents. She did this morning, 23 June, sitting on the 'woga' bamboo plattform of Paji's thatched adat house, with grass ('ci'i') reaching all the way to the woga. We were only the two of us, and a cat that kept miaowing. Outdoors condition: I handheld the Zoom and recorded with the internal microphones. This part of the (one) recording is a 'huru', to cure people with chewed areca nut and piper betel, 'ngiru huru', and other ingredients. This 'huru' is named after its only other ingredient; 'abhi' (kesambi tree). 'Huru abhi' (kesambi) is itching and skin peels. The chewed mixture is rubbed against the skin. No 'huru' curse, no 'bulu wa'o'. Just a cure! Portrait.; digital wav file recorded at 48 khz/24 bit, eaf file II portrait jpeg file; Kaipuleohone University of Hawai'i Digital Language Archive;http://hdl.handle.net/10125/47724.
