		Hubo una vez una pobre vaca que andaba por dondequiera. Esta pobre vaca no tenía nada que comer. Una vez encontró frijoles tendidos al sol para secarse. Empezó a tragárselos por montones y cuando estaba a punto de llenarse, le salío un perro y empezó a ladrarle. El perro la correteó y le mordió la cola, hasta se quedó colgado de ella. La vaca aventó lejos al perro y el pobre perro se quedó chillando tirado en el suelo. Cuando la vaca tuvo otra vez hambre, llegó a donde estaban tendidos los frijoles. El perro ya no le hacía caso. Se quedó quieto y triste. Y pensó: —No es bueno corretear a alguien más grande que yo—. Aquí se termina el cuento. Es mejor pensar antes de hacer algo.
		Once there was a poor cow who wandered about. She had nothing to eat. One day she found beans drying in the sun. She began to gobble them down and was about full when a dog came out and began to bark at her. She kicked him flying and left him howling in the dust. The next time the cow was hungry she returned to the beans drying on the mat. This time the dog paid her no attention. He was quiet and sad, and he thought: It is not a good idea to chase someone bigger than I am. Thus ends the story. It is better to think before acting.
