Description:Aakó Gabriel Sillo describes the bloodwit of 9 bulls for the killing of a man. He explains that it was decided that the life of a man was immeasurable, but that capital punishment amounted to further bloodshed. Some stated that the bloodwit should be 9 bulls, one for each month inside the mother’s womb. This was rejected, however, as the time spent in the mother’s womb can vary. Instead, it was decided that the bloodwit be 9 bulls, but because of the 9 orifices of the male body || Aakó Gabriel Sillo anaeleza tozo la dume 9 kwa kumwua mwanamume. For any use of this single material, or of a small number of materials from the larger deposit, please include the following credit lines: 1.
