Description:The traditional song , sung by two men who trade lines back and forth, and a larger group who provide a refrain. Hoombó Samajanja is a refrain, and it is unclear as to whether this is a person name, or simply a refrain of non-lexical vocables. The word munyampala is used in this song, which never occurs elsewhere in Gorwaa, but means ‘elder’ or ‘old man’ in the F3-group Bantu languages of northern Singida (such as Ihanzu) || Wimbo wa unaoitwa , unaoimbwa na wanaume wawili wanaopeana nafasi, na kundi kubwa zaidi wanaopokea. For any use of this single material, or of a small number of materials from the larger deposit, please include the following credit lines: 1.
