Description:		Pak Jan Peleng and Ibu Meske Tuerah discuss various aspects of the system of 'pa'andoan' (a.k.a 'mapalus') or daily collaborative work. This system is traditionally central to Tonsawang culture and also more broadly to Minahasan culture . The video footage for this session was recorded on a Canon Legria HF R606. The .mts format has been converted to .mp4 using the Handbrake program. The audio was recorded on a Zoom H4n in .wav format using Senhesier wireless lapel microphones. This bundle includes an ELAN project (.eaf) file with baseline transcription, word-level transcription, morpheme-by-morpheme glossing, and free translation in English. The information in this .eaf file is intended as a preliminary analysis of the data. Additional analysis is currently ongoing with the aim of producing a more detailed description of the phonology, morphology, and syntax.
		Video recorded on a Canon Legria HF R606. MTS format has been converted to MP4 using Handbrake. Audio recorded on a Zoom H4n in .WAV format with Senhesier wireless microphones. The original stero .WAV file has been converted to mono using Audacity.

		Ibu Meske Tuerah is an elderly speaker of the Tonsawang village of Kali Oki' She is currently retired. Prior to this she was a housewife in the village.
		Pak Jan Peleng is a native speaker of the Tonsawang/Tombatu language. He was born and lives in the village of Kali Oki', south eastern Minahasa district, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
