Description:Pak Yoppy Katupayan reads from a book which describes the story of a famous defied ancestor from Tonsawang named "Pondolos". This story relates how he defeated the powerful ancestor, "Hako", from the Mongondow region to the south. In parts Yoppy is assisted by a family member. This recording was created on 13/08/2013 using a Sony PCM Linear recorder by Dr Atsuko Utsumi of Meisei University and is included in this deposit with permission. This bundle includes an ELAN project (.eaf) file with baseline transcription, word-level transcription, and free translation in English. The information in this .eaf file is intended as a preliminary analysis of the data. Additional analysis is currently ongoing with the aim of producing a more detailed description of the phonology, morphology, and syntax.
