| Description: | Om Oby goes through the process of making 'supang', a traditional type of thatched roof. He chops down branches from the Metroxylon saugus tree and removes the leaves. After taking these back to his workspace he constructs three sections of thatched roof. The video footage was recorded using a Canon Legria HF R606 (wide shots) and a Canon Legria HF R706 (close-up shots). The raw footage was edited using Premier Pro CC software before being exported in H.264 format and re-encoded using the Handbrake program. The audio was narration recorded on a Zoom H1 and Zoom H4n in .wav format using a Rode Lavalier lapel microphone. This bundle contains narration in both the Tonsawang and Tombulu languages. The transcription and translation used for this narration is located in bundle TNW_64_JP_02032018. | |
