Description:A story of a great Lama who was travelling near the sacred lakes high in the mountains when he was attacked by a giant. The Lama stopped the monster, and now everyone can travel to sacred lakes. Includes brief song at the end in Nepali about the lakes. Transcription done with Sangbu Tamang. coughs and fills marked in angle brackets. Where Nepali is used, Sangbu's preference is given in Syuba immediately afterwards in angle brackets, often usually only at the first instance. Transcription notes in book 2016-02 pp. 53-61. Funding for this recording came from NTU, Singapore. Funding for transcription came from ELDP. Recorded on a ZoomH4n with a Sennheiser omnidirectional lavalier microphone and a Panasonic HC-V720 video camera with a Rode Pro shotgun mic. Recorded on 10/10/2014.
