Description:Lyre performances were recorded in a confusing situation in the village of Bonaara on the market day. Most musicians could be identified but the rhythms of the lyre songs are still undetermined. File 001 possibly shows a kaldi baaba-rhythm performed by Agaara Hakk'amo, while Panza Doto is singing. File 002 was recorded from Agazo Ts'utommo. File 003 was recorded from Dishidd'o Itts'o, it starts with a small political speech. File 004 is the demonstration of a baac'a-rhythm by an unknown musician. File 005 was recorded from Takka Woshashaado and contains a lyre song with an undetermined lyre rhythm. The individual recordings are of different quality. Baskeet listeners considered file 003 and file 005 to be interesting to listen.
Agaara Hakk'amo is a traditional elder of the Bonaara clan with the title of guud.
Yvonne Treis is a linguist and works on Ethiopian languages at CNRS in France.
