Description:Dink'o Dipo and Dibc'o Irreñña performs two work songs: file 001 is the worksong gaditsa, alternatively called gash wattsire 'one sows tef', file 007 is the work song keetts tookkire 'one carries the (roof of the) house'. They also demonstrate five mourning songs that are sung by groups on the way or at the house of the family of the deceased: file 002 is the mourning zoora, file 003 the mourning shoossha, file 004 is a mourning song that is sung after the death of a kaati, a traditional clan leader, file 005 and file 006 are two types of mourning songs called harassa, the second of which is possible in Goop (Gofa language). Dink'o Dipo performs an autobiographical song on the lyre in the kaldi baaba-rhythm in file 008, while Dibc'o whistles and claps. Finally, Dibc'o Irreñña performs a gel'o-song on the lyre. The songs recoreded in this session are later discussed in an interview with Dibc'o Irreñña (see session DIR2012-01-16_001-002).
