Originally from Gumbatara. Mother from Sahartara. Grew up speaking Kaike and Tichurong (Poike Tibetan) in Dolpa. Speaks Kaike on a daily basis, but uses Nepali and English for his trekking business and for his studies. Has done research on Kaike rituals.
