| Description: | Two elderly natives speakers discuss and describe the pictures of traditional life in a village shown to them by the collector. The pictures include various scenes of agricultural events like gathering crops or wood-cutting as well as day-to-day rural life scenes. The speakers take turns and describe different details of the pictures. Unfortunately the pictures described aren't seen for the viewer of the video. The intro video contains the quick overview of a traditional Teleut village house from inside. The final video is a little dim and of poorer quality. The interviewer talks in Russian about the language situation in the village - when do children start to learn/speak Teleut (if they do at all)and when they quit using their mother-tongue. | |
