Description:In these four recording, Rinchen shows how to churn the milk in the traditional way. She also shows how to extract butter and cheese. Two of the recordings are fully annotated.
Wangchuk is a PhD researcher at the University of Essex. He is PI, from Phonjikha and a native speaker of Nyenkha.
Yangchen is a student and lives in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. She is employed as a helper for this project.
Rinchen is a farmer and mother of the family. She speaks Nyenkha as her native and speaks Dzongkha (national language) with other speakers for commercial puepose. She is through with the traditional process of milk churning, extracting butter and cheese.
