Description:This Nyenkha-Dzongkha-English basic and elementary dictionary contains a very basic terminologies of Nyenkha used in the ELDP survey conducted from January 2018 to December 2018 by the principal investigator, Wangchuk Rinzin and his research assistants, language consultants and other helpers. it has 135 word entries and considered to be the substantial contribution towards the local community and to preserve revitalise Nyenkha for the future generations.
Wangchuk is a PhD researcher at the University of Essex. He works for Dzongkha Development Commission. He is from Phonjikha and a native speaker of Nyenkha.
Wangchuk is a PhD researcher at the University of Essex. He is a native of Nyenkha speaker and the principal investigator of Nyenkha language documentation project, ELDP. All the actors (PI, RAs, helpers and consultants are involved in making this Nyenkha-Dzongkha-English mini elementary.
Ugyen works for the DDC office and employed as RA with Wangchuk Rinzin. He is a native of Tshangla and uses Dzongkha and English as the national language and international language, respectively.
Yangchen is a student and lives in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. She is a native speaker of Kurtokha and fluent in Dzongkha. He is employed as helper for the Nyenkha ELDP.
