Description:		The authors talk about their childhood spent in Belovo dictrict - a traditional rural area where the Teleuts historically dwelled and then compare their memories to the present-day situation in the village of their early life years. The authors are cousins, so they try to recollect their elder relatives - who they were, where they lived in the village etc. They both left the village after adolescence and now they tell each other about how they were back after 30-40 yaers to the village and how much the village had changed. They remember stories about their life - how one of them beat up another companion and was consequently prosecuted, how the other had a bike and would always repair. Being brothers they also talk about the surname they share - the Tokmashevs - and wonder where it comes from.
