Description:At the initial stages of fieldwork, the researcher (RKA) observed that Ampomaa, a middle-aged woman, had a special way of greeting him. At the beginning, he thought it was an Nkami way of showing reverence through greeting. Upon inquiry, it came out that it was rather a way of greeting by a religious group she belongs to. The video recording captures RKA and his team members, Akuamuah and Ketewa, sweep their compound while Ampomaa greets them. The elan file contains (raw) transcription of Nkami's recording and Akan translation. It has not been translated into English yet.
