Description:		Serge Sagna records Jísebaña Bassène in a night-time recording session with women from Elubalir. Jíssebeña and the other women tell a few tales first and then go on to introduce aspects of the fertility ritual as practiced in Elubalir, for women who struggle to give birth. During this session, she and other women tell their stories as spirit-children, who decide to die very young and come back to life, thus forcing their mothers to undergo the fertility ritual to keep them alive.
