| Description: | England Banggala talks about Ji-japurn, the ancestral creator being, who made the country around Gochan Jiny-jirra, and associated dreamings, including Jin-gubardabiya, the pandanus mat/mermaid dreaming. Describes events that created the sites and how sites associated with Ji-japurn are men's secret business for the Murdayan ceremony. He lists various kinship relationships that are associated with different places and the surrounding environment (animals and plants) and discusses his male kin who came before him and instructed him in the rules associated with these sites. He concludes by mentioning Margaret Carew, who is recording, how she has travelled from a long way away to learn and record these stories. Status: MC worked on this with Beverly England and Betty Warnduk on 27.8.2012. Refer to files 20120827-01. This derived eaf created 25.2.2013 as T07B-29. Orthography tier segmented, text needs editing. 28.03.2013 - worked on this during March workshop with PM, RW and MW. 1/APR/2013 Edited orthographic and translation tier ready for book.
