Description:Verb derivation has been discussed in chapter 10. Arguments and predicate relationships have been treated in Chapter 11. The causative form in Kwom is formed by a morpheme /mà-/ ‘make’ and causative marker morpheme /p̛ə́l-/ ‘cause to’. The causative form can be paraphrased as /mà- p̛ə́l-/ to express a caused action. Double causative construction is also possible. In Kwom, the verb form and tone play crucial role in passive forms. Imperfective passive in Kwom is marked by /-à-/ for singular subject and /-ù-/ for plural subject. Reciprocal and inceptive have been treated in chapter 10. Intransitive verbs, monotransitive verbs, ditransitive verbs have been discussed in detail in chapter 11.
