Description:This sessions is a relational database containing the responses to a questionnaire on tense, aspect and mood usage based on Dahl's 1985 book on tense and aspect systems and coded for Aktionsarten based on Bickel's work on Belhare (see references). The questionnaire was filled by describing and explaining the situations coded in the database (using Nepali) to native speakers and asking them what would be the most suitable Chintang expression in response.
The session consists of the main questionnaire ("sentences.csv") and a relationally linked file collecting all relevant morphemes ("morphemes.csv"), plus the coding schema for situation types ("codes.cvs"). In order to recreate the relational structure of the orginal FileMaker database, follow the graphs in the attached pdf documents.
All the data is in Chintang.
NP filled this questionnaire with the help of our consultants and Prof. Rai
