Description:This corpus collects German sign language (DGS) data. For this project, native, early, and late DGS signers were recorded performing different tasks (narratives of short picture stories/cartoon clips) and engaging in free conversation. These recordings and their annotations are stored in this corpus.
M3: the mouse and the elephant are tossing a ball back and forth; the elephant accidentally swallows ball, the mouse tickles its nose to make it sneeze; the ball hits the mouse in the stomach and sends it flying.
AF is a male native DGS signer.
RG is a male early DGS signer. He was born deaf but started signing DGS at the age of 5 in kindergarten.
UZ is a male native signer who recruited the participants in Aachen and recorded them.
