Description: | It is a part of worship of the Panimagne ritual. It is performed once a year. Like other worships, It is a worship in the goddess altar called Jalpa Debi. The Jalpa debi is worshipped daily except Sunday, dark moon of each month. It is one of the holy goddesses among Chintang as well as eastern part of Nepal. On the occasion of the Panimagne, Bhadaure Purne, Baisakhe Purne, it is greatly worshipped than usual daily worship. | |
It is the worship of the goddess calle Jalpa debi. It is also called Thigum Hangma in their local language. It is located in Chintang so it is also called Chintang Debi. It is worshipped grately on the occasion of the Pani Magne even if it is worshipped daily. | ||
This is a chant in the ritual language used by Chintang ritual experts. It is different from ordinary language so a few knowledgeable elders can speak and partly understand. Its basic character is binomial. | ||
He is member of the Tuprihang clan. Like his elder brother BhB he is a Chambak, i.e. a tribal shaman, who goes into trance during certain occasion. | ||
